POLLY PARROT
(Cv highlights)
Sad to say that Polly has disappeared...leaving us with this 1 very rare recording.
"She is better than that Kiwi bird off the telly ! " Brian Sewell, Evening Standard.
Polly began singing in the local perch choir not long after leaving the nest. She was then
spotted, not literally, and duly won the prestigious John 'Parrot' Cage scholarship for a
rather arrogant minimalist performance of Sondheim's "anyone can whistle".
She has since rubbed and sat on the shoulders of artists as diverse as Jack Daw, Robin
Redbreast and more recently Sheryl Crow. Not forgetting the famous duet with Thomas Tit
"Who's a pretty a boy then? "
In the early 70's, Polly toured with Wings and of course The Eagles, promoting her debut
album, aptly titled "Norwegian Blues"

Other album credits include "Nuts in the morning, nuts at night " and her
biggest success to date the cheeky..."Mina songs not from a Minor bird "
We can only hope that her owner reveals themselves via the www.
