He made history by being awarded as many as nine prizes in the same year.

First performed at the age of seven at Jaffna University, Sri Lanka. Accompanied his guru B Rajam Iyer in vocal concerts all over India from 1996 to 2000. As a dance vocalist (Bharatanatyam) as well as a solo artist, performances and tours on a regular basis in Sri Lanka, India, UK, Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Performances in prestigious UK venues such as the Nehru Centre, Indian High Commission (London), Philharmonic (Liverpool), South Bank Centre (London). Touring internationally as the lead vocalist with UK based SRISHTI - Nina Rajarani Dance Creations since 2002. Productions include Women are from Venus... (2005), Equilibrium (2004), She (2002/3).
